Using Water-to-Go bottles on my expedition around the Gambia has literally been a life saver!
There is no way to physically carry the amount of water you will need in the scorching 40-45 degrees heat, for several days on end. Inevitably this means collecting water from some very unreliable sources on route, such as village wells and occasionally from the river Gambia itself!
No doubt there has been some really dodgy things in the water that would have definitely put me out of action. But no matter what it looks like going in the bottle, it always comes out crystal clear and tasting perfectly clean and safe.
It has given me the confidence to venture to the most remote areas of the country without the constant worry of having to sourcing drinking water.
