New Lid Features
The protective cover clicks shut over the spout to help keep it clean and hygienic. This is an important new feature for our lids as we look to expand into new markets, particularly the active sector. This means that you can be sure the spout is clean and free of any contamination.
The single-handed action of our flip cap cover also helps to ensure you can access safe drinking water whilst on the go.
The larger spout has improved the flow rate by around 20% (from our previous lids) so you will be able to get plenty of water out when required. Furthermore, the spout is already ‘up’ so you don’t need to touch the spout at all, only the flip cap cover protecting the spout.
The new lids are now available on all of our bottles on our website, and also separately. An interesting new feature for the lids, specifically for the 50cl bottles, is the corresponding colours on the band and spout cover. We think this makes the bottle more aesthetically pleasing and has been an appealing factor for new corporate partners who we have produced branded bottles for.
We are really pleased with the new lid and think it is a great development for our product as we continue to expand as a business. We have just entered our 10th year of business and this is another milestone for us after a very busy 2019. Our 2nd crowdfunding campaign with Crowdcube was incredibly successful and this has allowed us to improve the infrastructure of the business and work on these new, exciting developments for our evergrowing community.

Water-to-Go’s new Active bottle – featuring our new lid
The development of our new lids has perfectly coincided with the launch of our new bottle in the Water-to-Go range; we call it the Active bottle.
The Water-to-Go Active Bottle is perfect for those with a healthy, on-the-go lifestyle. It features many of the current elements from the Water-to-Go bottle range but has many new and developed features designed for the active sector. It has a new style, with the red and black to strike an active look, and also features our new, hygienic click lid.
The new lid is designed with a specific purpose to appeal to the active market and cyclists in particular. For those who are cycling abroad or for a period of time where they need to fill up frequently, the active bottle is perfect for keeping you hydrated without needing single-use plastic bottles. You can fill up from any tap or river along the route and have access to safe drinking water straight away. Whatsmore, you can drink whilst you are on the go so you don’t have to stop.
The Water-to-Go Active bottle is a completely new product which addresses a gap in the active market. As far as we are aware, this is the first filter bottle that has been specifically designed to fit bike racks.
Our New lids around the World!
Water-to-Go customers and partners have used our new lids all over the world on their travels and excursions in order to stay healthy and hydrated wherever they are. You can fill the bottles from any non-saltwater source in the world such as a tap, river, stream or standpipe to name a few and our 3-in-1 technology filter will eliminate any harmful contaminants from the water.
